A recent article on PhysiciansPractice.com lists some interesting survey results on current opinions about the state of the US Healthcare system. The ongoing theme is that most doctors aren’t sure where the current system is headed, and most don’t think it’s heading in the right direction.
One figure states “Over 62 percent of physicians estimate they provide $25,000 or more each year in uncompensated care.”
This just shows that the more a doctor can outsource duties not directly related to giving care (like billing), the better off they will be.
