- The Importance of Web-Based Electronic Claims Filing™
Electronic billing is vitally important to the future of medical billing. Doctors have already been notified by the federal government that electronic billing is the new – and only acceptable – standard for filing claims. Doctors’ offices are scrambling to get into compliance, which means a great opportunity for new ABS Licensees.
It also means all the old stand-by methods are on the way out. Everything except safe, secure online electronic billing, like we include for our Licensees, is obsolete.
You don’t have to learn the complex codes required by the insurance companies. The site itself “knows” the code. It even checks for errors and alerts you before you send a claim in that is doomed to be rejected.
What this means for your business is that you can process more claims, more accurately, much faster. And the faster you process claims, the more money you can earn and the higher your per-hour compensation. (You can compute your hourly income from your actual claims-per-hour, whether billed on a percentage or flat rate).
And you never have to pay extra for software upgrades or revised medical codes like you do with other companies.
In addition, since there is no software that resides on your computer, you don’t need to worry about viruses, data backups or disasters that might cause you to lose your valuable patient and provider data.

- We Do Not Market Directly to Doctors
ABS is focused on helping you build your business. We do not go behind your back and market directly to medical providers like some of the other companies do. We only provide medical billing for a handful of doctors in order to make sure our online practice management system is working as it should, and to continually improve it.
Selling software or billing services directly to doctors is an unethical practice and is in direct competition with those companies’ Licensees who have spent thousands of dollars on their medical billing opportunity. But some companies do it. Not ABS.
Many of our competitors sell their software to people wishing to start their own billing service, while also selling similar software on a different web site, under a different brand name, directly to medical providers. They even solicit resellers of this software on those same sites.
You can be assured that at American Business Systems, our only business is making sure you build your business. We make money on each of your transactions, so we are committed to helping each of our Licensees build their business as big as they can dream.

- We Offer Unbeatable Support
At ABS, our motto is “whatever it takes”. This is most evident by the way our support staff and Success Team Coaches assist our Licensees. Most companies have an in-house support person who handles the majority of the emails and calls.
At ABS, we draw on the day-to-day experience of our own staff as well as the expertise of actual Licensees who have built their own medical billing services. Our Success Team helps other Licensees who are having a problem getting a client, using the System, creating a proposal or knowing how best to build their business.
If you have questions about the System or some of our other software, we utilize state-of-the-art technology to allow us to connect to your computer and demonstrate how to use the System, as you watch, as if we were sitting right beside you.
We also have a private web-site just for our Licensees. You will be given an ID and Password to access the site, 24/7. It has audio-visual training modules, downloadable forms, agreements and marketing materials, PowerPoint slide shows, software manuals, and more.
You may call, email, or fax us your questions, and support is unlimited for the first two years.

The ABS live training workshops are held at a hotel located near the DFW airport between Dallas and Fort Worth. The only cost for attending these seminars is the cost of getting to Dallas and your hotel stay.
